Beirut Glow Privacy Policy

Effective date: 11 August 2026

Beirut Glow is operated by Nichane Jaber Haidar ("Beirut Glow", "we", "us", or "our"), located in Bakaata al Chouf, Lebanon. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use the Beirut Glow mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We use privacy-friendly website analytics to understand aggregated site use, such as visits, page activity, and conversion events. We do not use this website analytics to sell personal information or build advertising profiles.

1. Information we collect

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, sell personal information, or process card payments inside the Service.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide discovery, booking, rescheduling, cancellation, chat, reviews, uploads, notifications, campaigns, business management, and Glow rewards; show listings and availability; send authentication, password-reset, booking, safety, and opted-in promotional messages; prevent fraud, spam, abuse, duplicate rewards, and unauthorized access; operate and improve the Service; handle support, disputes, and deletion requests; comply with law; and enforce our agreements.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service, legal obligations, and consent where requested.

3. How we disclose information

Businesses are responsible for their handling of customer information outside the Service and may not use booking/chat data for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis. We do not sell or rent personal information.

4. International processing

Providers may process information outside Lebanon, where laws may differ. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards intended to protect transferred information.

5. Retention

We retain information only as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, keep required business/tax records, and meet legal obligations.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of your information. You can update profile/preferences in the app; disable location, photo, or notification permissions in device settings; opt out of optional campaigns; and delete your account through Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

You may also request deletion without the app at https://beirutglow.com/account-deletion or [email protected]. We may verify your identity. Deleting the app does not delete your account.

7. Security

We use safeguards including access controls, server-side authorization and validation, encrypted transport, rate limits, timing-safe verification, restricted storage, monitoring, and environment separation. No system is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Anyone below the legal age to contract may use it only with permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. Contact us if you believe a child provided information without authorization.

9. Third parties and businesses

The Service may link to maps, social networks, messaging apps, business websites, and other independent services governed by their own policies. Participating businesses are independent and may maintain separate privacy practices.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy for changes in the Service, law, or our practices. We will update the effective date and give additional notice where required. Material changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.
