Beirut Glow

Beirut Glow Terms of Service

Effective date: 11 August 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Nichane Jaber Haidar, located in Bakaata al Chouf, Lebanon, operating as Beirut Glow. They govern the Beirut Glow app, website, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter this agreement, or use the Service with a parent/legal guardian's permission and supervision. Provide accurate information, secure your credentials, and promptly update your account. Do not impersonate others, use unauthorized information, transfer accounts, evade restrictions, or automate account creation.

2. Marketplace role

Beirut Glow helps users discover and communicate with independent beauty, grooming, and wellness businesses and request appointments. Unless expressly stated, Beirut Glow is not the service provider, employer, or party to the customer-business service contract and does not guarantee a listing's accuracy, availability, suitability, safety, licensing, quality, or results.

Businesses remain responsible for services, staff, licences, hygiene, safety, prices, availability, customer care, and legal compliance. Customers decide whether a service is appropriate and should disclose relevant allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions directly to the business. Beirut Glow does not provide medical advice.

3. Bookings, prices, cancellations, and payment

A request is not confirmed until accepted by the business. Availability may change before acceptance. The app records the selected service and presented price. Any lawful additional charge or service change must be clearly disclosed and agreed before performance.

The Service does not process customer payments at launch. Customers pay cash directly at the business when receiving the service; Beirut Glow does not hold funds or resolve external payment disputes.

Cancellation, rescheduling, lateness, no-show, deposit, and refund policies may vary by business. Material policies must be displayed or communicated before they apply. Mandatory consumer rights prevail.

4. Business accounts

Business users confirm they are authorized to act for the business and must maintain accurate listings, services, prices, schedules, capacity, contacts, media, and policies; honor or promptly communicate changes to confirmed bookings; hold required registrations, licences, insurance, qualifications, and permissions; use customer data only for lawful booking-related purposes or with required consent; and never manipulate rankings, reviews, rewards, capacity, campaigns, or booking status.

Verification, ranking, awards, badges, recommendations, and premium labels are platform features, not guarantees. We may correct or remove inaccurate, manipulated, expired, or erroneous labels.

5. Glow rewards

Glow points are promotional loyalty units—not money, electronic currency, stored value, property, or transferable—and have no cash value. Eligible points are credited only under displayed rules, including completion of eligible bookings. We may block duplicates and reverse points obtained through error, cancellation, fraud, manipulation, or abuse. Redemptions are subject to displayed eligibility and balance rules. Points may be forfeited when an account is deleted or these Terms are materially violated, subject to law.

6. Content, reviews, chat, and campaigns

You retain ownership of submitted content and grant Beirut Glow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, technically adapt, distribute, and display it to operate, secure, promote, and improve the Service. The licence ends after deletion except for cached, backup, legal, or previously authorized uses.

You confirm you hold all rights and permissions, including consent from identifiable people in media. Content must not be unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, exploitative, privacy-invasive, infringing, malicious, spam, or manipulative. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Campaigns may target only eligible audiences and must honor preferences and law. We may moderate or remove content but do not promise to review everything.

7. Acceptable use

Do not access another person's account/data; scrape, reverse engineer, probe, overload, disrupt, or bypass security/rate limits; upload malware; commit fraud or harassment; send unlawful marketing; falsify identity, bookings, completions, ownership, reviews, rewards, or listings; misuse personal data; or violate law or third-party rights.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, excluding user content, is owned by Beirut Glow or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

9. Third-party services

Maps, device platforms, social networks, messaging apps, and participating businesses are independent and governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for them beyond obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop or delete your account at any time. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to protect users/Service, investigate fraud or security incidents, comply with law, address inactivity, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.

Delete through Profile → Settings → Delete Account or https://beirutglow.com/account-deletion. Some records may be retained or de-identified as explained in the Privacy Policy.

11. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and release security/compatibility updates. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and will provide notice of material adverse changes where practicable.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum lawful extent, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," and excludable implied warranties are disclaimed. We do not guarantee any business/user's conduct, identity, licensing, service quality, safety, availability, or results.

Nothing excludes mandatory consumer protections or liability that cannot be limited, including fraud, willful misconduct, or negligence liability where exclusion is prohibited.

To the maximum lawful extent, Beirut Glow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damage or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity. For lawfully limitable claims, aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of amounts paid directly to Beirut Glow in the prior 12 months or USD 100.

13. Indemnity

Where lawful, business and commercial users agree to defend and indemnify Beirut Glow against third-party claims arising from their services, content, unlawful conduct, infringement, misuse of customer data, or breach. This does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.

14. Governing law and disputes

Lebanese law governs these Terms. Competent Beirut courts have jurisdiction except where mandatory consumer law permits claims elsewhere. Before filing, contact [email protected] with a concise description so we can attempt an informal resolution. Urgent protective relief and mandatory remedies remain available.

15. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or feature changes, updating the effective date and giving notice where required. If any provision is unenforceable, it is limited as necessary and the rest remains effective. Non-enforcement is not waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent; we may assign them in a business transfer subject to law.
